So here's a sneak peak of this past year and all it's randomness!
- Travel to Pensacola for one of my best friends in the world - best baby shower I've ever been to :)
- Home for the holidays - a relaxing week of sight-seeing, drinking hot cocoa, and cuddling up with movies with the fam in Nebraska! Midnight mass, a couple breweries, the Railroad Museum, and home-cooked meals :)
- Lifestyle changes - James and I joined a crossfit gym and started the Paleo challenge....great for our waistline and our marriage as we thrive on being an active couple together. [I've had to seriously ramp up my recipe inventory to include paleo-friendly fares]
Egg Muffins!
Cauliflower Crusted Pizza - even your husbands will love it!
Fish with Asparagus
Zucchini Fritters - still working on perfecting these ;)
- 3 job offers - woot woot!
- Meg's bachelorette beach weekend in Navarre and meeting little Miss Autumn for the first time -- a trip that soothed my soul and warmed my heart. And of course there were plenty of irish wakes to go around at the McQuires 5K!

Def. moments of our lives that we will remember and cherish forever. Pics of Dana's wedding weekend in Islamorada!!! The water was incredible.

Phew - and that's only the highlights. Pretty busy but incredible year surrounded by the best friends and family a girl could ask for! Funny how journal-ing your life's events can be a huge eye-opener, forcing you to reminisce and remember all the good times you've had and shared. Otherwise, it's easy to take those things for granted. I'm so thankful for this life. So here's to what the next year with bring....year 29 has big shoes to fill b/c year 28 was a blast!
I'm reminded of a quote that I heard a few years ago and it stuck with me...I think this pretty much sums it up for us: "Some women aren't meant to be tamed. They just need to run free til they find someone just as wild to run with them." Well I've def. found that 'someone' and he has made my life complete in every way....growing old, as long as it's with him, won't be so bad afterall!
