I Did It ....Finally!

Look who's finally got a couple more letters after her name....THIS GIRL!!!!  I just found out that I [finally] passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering exam)!  So I'm one step closer to being a licensed Professional Engineer.   Lord have mercy...it took me a while but I did it.  Triumph has never felt so good.  For what ever reason, this exam has literally been the death of me and the bane of my existence for the last couple of years....that's right, I said YEARS!!  Never have I ever felt more like a failure than I did when a barely missed the cut off the first time, but then failing again and again....I hit my breaking point.  Honestly if it weren't for my husband and his constant support (and hard ass-ness), I would have quit.  I've NEVER been a quitter - but I seriously considered it.  Then all of my schooling, experience, dreams, etc. would have been for nothing.  Sigh!  So, getting the 'congratulatory' letter is the second biggest sigh of relief in my life --!! Time to celebrate!
